Originally from sunny Naples, Florida, Lea brings a lifelong love of animals to her role as a Veterinary Assistant. Before entering the veterinary field, she spent seven years as a professional equine hunter/jumper trainer—and she still enjoys training horses in her spare time.
Lea is passionate about helping animals live their best lives, whether they’re in the barn or the exam room. When she’s not at work, she loves reading, painting, traveling with her family, and spending time with her own four-legged companions: Stella the Boxer, Vincent the domestic shorthair cat, Flix the Appaloosa pony, and Rory, her striking Knabstrupper stallion.
